Brush Pickup
Brush may be put curbside for Friday pickups. Branches shall not be larger than 3 inches in diameter and six feet long. Thorny materials and branches must be in bundles no larger than (1) foot. Cut ends must face the street for ease of pickup by our maintenance crew. Lastly, dirt and debris must be removed from plants structure and roots. See Ordinance 3-26.
Trash Service
Trash pickup is provided by ARS. Bulk pickup is available at and additional cost, but you must make arrangements with ARS beforehand at (419) 445-5391. Please call the village office or ARS for pricing.

F.A.Q.
Brush pickup is completed March through November and storm events. Pickup is currently being performed every Friday. Brush should be no larger than 3 inches in diameter and 6 feet in length. Bundles should be no bigger than 1 foot in diameter. Dirt and debris should be removed from plant structure and roots.
Leaf pickup is performed October 15 through November 15. It may continue through November 30, weather permitting. Leaf pickup for 2024 will take place Tuesdays and Fridays. Leaves can be bagged or brushed to the curb. Leaves must be free of sticks or they will be left.
- Residents are responsible for shoveling their sidewalks. Per Chapter 4, Section 4-3 (e), the owner or occupant of any premises along which a sidewalk has been constructed and exists must remove “all accumulated snow therefrom by ten (10:00) o’clock a.m. the day following such snow event. If such snow has not been removed from said walk by the person so neglecting or refusing to remove the same within six (6) hours after having been notified by the superintendent of streets, the superintendent may cause the same to be removed at the expense of the owner or occupant of said premises, and the cost thereof may be collected as a single lot assessment according to law.”
- During snow emergencies, there is no street parking on the following streets from 3 a.m. – 7 a.m. to enable snow cleanup in town: North and South Main St., East and West Center St., Church St., South Mackinaw St., Wright St., Water St., and East St. between East Center and Wright Street . We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
