Hydrant Flushing April 23-30
The spring hydrant flushing will happen 10 am - 2 pm daily until completed starting April 23, 2025. Please remember to run water through the faucets until the water runs clear before washing clothes each day. Hydrant flushing is an important step to maintain the water and water system in our beloved village. If you have a questions or concerns, please reach out to the village office.
Seeking Code Enforcement Officer
The Village of Waldron has an opening for a code enforcement officer. Duties include enforcing the Village of Waldron ordinances and other violations and may at times be required to appear in court. The pay is $25/hour. Position is part-time, not to exceed 3 hours per week. Court appearances are $50 plus mileage and not part of the hourly pay. Those interested are invited to fill out an application or submit a resume and cover letter to the Village of Waldron office at 102 S. Must be able to pass a background check.
Spring Cleanup - May 10
CURBSIDE DOOR TO DOOR
A.R.S. Trucks will be on site at 7:00 a.m.
NO YARD WASTE (No branches. No leaves. No grass. Yard waste will not be accepted at the landfill.)
NO HAZARDOUS WASTE (No batteries-pesticides-liquid paint, etc. **Dried Paint is Acceptable as Long as Lid is off Paint Can**)
NO TIRES (Tires will not be accepted at the landfill.)
BARRELS (Empty barrels ONLY. Bagged ashes or BARRELS FULL OF ASHES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.)
HOUSEHOLD ITEMS (Furniture-TV’s-Mattresses-Box Springs, Etc. are acceptable.)
LAWN AND GARDEN (Mowers-Roto Tillers — Swing Seats, Etc. are acceptable. ****LIQUIDS MUST BE DRAINED****)
CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL-NO CONCRETE or CONCRETE BLOCKS (No Drywall, Dirt, Stones, Material cannot exceed 5 foot in length. Material must fit into the back of the truck. We will not break off material with the truck blade.)
NO TYPE OF LIQUID IS ACCEPTABLE.
